A custom build and design, by increasing the input volume you can increase the level of audio via 4 different limiter circuits and one Transformer circuit.
This was done using the knowledge I've built up over the last 6 months, learning how different components work together resulting in the Squeezer version 1.0.
With dual inputs the squeezer makes a great mixing tool for mixdown's, mastering and sound design.
4 different Limiter circuits (LED (Front panel), 4004, 4148, Band Resonator)
1 Transformer (1:1 ratio)
Dedicated Power Supply
LED (front Panel) shows + and - clipping indication
Audio examples below show a unprocessed sine wave at C1, (you may need headphones to listen to the unprocessed version) with the sine wave I took the signal and put it through each of the circuits, this resulted in what you can hear, each circuit is normalised and has it's own unique character which can help give added harmonics to what is put through it. Although these examples is just a simple sine wave you can get a idea of each of the circuit's and what they can give, and with that dialling in this effect into your productions can give subtle or extremely hard results.
